Because of this, Cumberland Valley will fund at least 50% of your Emerge Prepared program, normally ranging from $2,500 to $4,000, through a generous educational fund.
If you enjoy working with computers, then a PC Technician may be a good role to kickstart your career. A PC Technician is an IT professional who possesses the know-how of installation and PC building and helps troubleshoot and repair computers and computer programs. If nothing is wrong with the computer, they also help test and optimize its performance to get the most out of the device.
There are a variety of opportunities available to PC Technicians ranging from repair centers to corporate offices and customer support center environments.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment in computer and information technology occupations is projected to grow by 15% from 2021 to 2031. This equates to about 418,500 new jobs per year from both projected growth and replacement needs.
